Liebe Freunde des Folke-Juniors,
nun sieht es ja beinahe danach aus, dass wir bald – vielleicht – unter Umständen – je nach Region – wieder aufs Wasser können. Genug Zeit für die Winterarbeit war ja – wenn man zu seinem Boot durfte.
Nach dem Tod von Hartwig wurde ich von vielen angesprochen, was jetzt mit der Organisation der Klasse in Deutschland passiert, mit den über Jahre aufgebauten Beziehungen nach Dänemark, dem zentralen Anlaufpunkt rund um den Folke Junior. Meine Zeit reicht nicht aus, um die Arbeit mit der Intensität meines Vaters fortzuführen.
Machen wir es kurz. Ich bin sehr glücklich und dankbar – vor allem, da ich jetzt selbst die 412 fahren darf – dass Thomas (Jönck) und Dietmar (Gottke) die Klassenarbeit im Sinne der Klasse fortführen werden. Danke ihr beiden.
Thomas wird sich um alle Belange rund um die Klasse und die Eigner kümmern, Dietmar kümmert sich um die Website und um den Kontakt nach Dänemark. Bitte unterstützt die beiden, wo ihr nur könnt und haltet die Kommunikation aufrecht. Hier noch die Kontaktdaten der beiden:

Das war es kurz und knapp. Die J-412 „Maltorte“ wird die Klasse jetzt in NRW bekannter machen – und ich wünsche mir weiterhin einen regen Austausch.

Dear friends of the Folke Junior,
now it almost looks like we will soon be back on the water – maybe – depending on the region. There was enough time for winter work – if you were allowed to go to your boat in your region.
After Hartwig’s death, I was asked by many people about what is happening now with the organization of the class in Germany, with the long-standing relationships with Denmark, the single point of contact for the Folke Junior. My time is not enough to continue this work with my father’s intensity.
Let’s make it short. I am very happy and grateful – especially since I can now drive the 412 myself – that Thomas (Jönck) and Dietmar (Gottke) will continue the class work in the sense of the class. Thank you both.

So far for now – short and sweet. The J-412 “Maltorte” will now make the class better known in North Rhine-Westphalia – and I hope that the exchange between all of us will continue.
